The Aveda team braided each model's hair into four tight plaits.
But here's the trick: As you can see with that front braid there, they tied them off with a cord instead of wrapping a ponytail holder around the bottom. This prevented that indentation at the ends that a band can create. So smart! I always end up with a crimp at the end of my hair when I try this--now I know how to keep it from happening. Score.
